Funding opportunities under INTERREG Alpine Space

The third call for project proposals under INTERREG Alpine Space was launched on 13 April with the possibility to submit an Expression of Interests until 28 June 2017.

The third call for project proposals follows a two-step application procedure and is open to priorities 1 to 4 of the cooperation programme:

Priority 1: Innovative Alpine Space
Priority 2: Low Carbon Alpine Space
Priority 3: Liveable Alpine Space
Priority 4: Well-Governed Alpine Space

Nevertheless, specific topics are highlighted for each of the four priorities, and projects in these directions are particularly welcomed. In Priority 1, e.g., this 3rd call for proposals specifically intends to improve the reception and service capacity of social organisations and public authorities for a better integration of migrants and refugees in the Alpine Space communities. And in Priority 3, the programme aims at valorising traditional skills and jobs, value chains and local products based on cultural and/or natural resources (see Terms of Reference).

Participation in INTERREG projects is open to institutions of all kinds: Local authorities, cantonal and federal agencies, research institutes, associations, enterprises, etc. Swiss partners may take the administrative lead in these projects. More Swiss-specific information can of course be found on the National page for Switzerland.
