TARN
The Transdisciplinary Andean Research Network (TARN) aims to understand the intersecting issues of climate change, glacier retreat, hydrological resources, water use, societal adaptation, and glacial hazards in the Andes, focusing in particular on the Cordillera Blanca and Santa River watershed.

THEMATIC NETWORKS

GlacierHub Logo square small
  GLACIERHUB
GlacierHub seeks to expand and deepen the understanding of glaciers. It provides information about current scientific research, tells stories of people who live near glaciers or who visit them, and it offers accounts of the efforts of communities and organizations to address the challenges brought by glacier retreat. It also serves as a nexus to link people who are interested in glaciers.
GLP Logo small   GLOBAL LAND PROGRAMME
The Global Land Programme (GLP) is an interdisciplinary community of science and practice fostering the study of land systems and the co-design of solutions for global sustainability. GLP is an open community where all scientists, practitioners and policy makers interested and involved in land system change can participate and contribute.

     INARCH
The International Network for Alpine Research Catchment Hydrology (INARCH) is a cross-cut project of the GEWEX Hydroclimatology Panel that aims to better understand alpine cold region hydrological processes, improve predictions, and find consistent measurement stategies.
MtnObs Logo   GNOMO
The Global Network of Mountain Observatories (GNOMO) aims to build a comparative global monitoring program using top-down and bottom-up observations in order to get a clear picture of mountain social-ecological systems.
