AfroMont
is a network of scientists and environmental and resource specialists that promote research into and implementation of sustainable livelihoods in mountain areas of  Africa within the context of long term climate change.  It has been launched at the Kampala Workshop in July 2007. The aim is to connect and support global change researchers working in different mountain regions on the African continent.

Who is Who in African Mountain Research

For the organization of the launching workshopon a Global Change Research Network in African Mountains the MRIcollected and compiled information on global change scientists workingin the African Mountains. After the workshop each member of theorganizing committee completed the list with scientists of theirresprective countries and regions. MRI updates the list on a regularbasis.
