MRI initiated the Global Change Research Network in European Mountains, MRI Europe, in February 2007. This science network connects and supports global change researchers working in different mountain regions on the European continent.

Objectives

The objectives of the network are

  • to connect European scientists working on mountain topics
  • to facilitate the search for research partners
  • to make more efficient use of resources through exchange and cooperations
  • to implement relevant research questions defined by the GLOCHAMORE Research Strategy.
