New publication: Mountains and Climate Change
New publication for which well-known experts from established
mountain organisations contributed key insights: Mountains and Climate
Change: from Understanding to Action. Produced in the run-up to the UN Climate Change Conference in Copenhagen (COP15) by the Swiss Agency for Development (SDC) and the Centre for Development and Environment (CDE).
The brochure puts forward a series of recommendations for sustainable mountain development in the face of climate change. The publication was launched at the COP15 side event "Mountains of the World: Addressing Climate Change through Sustainable Mountain Development" on Saturday 12 December 2009.
